IPHONE XS

Like the iPhone X, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have a stainless steel frame and a glass body. This supports wireless charging. Borderless displays and a TrueDepth camera system for face recognition are also included.

For the first time, there is the color gold as a color option that connects the silver and gray surfaces of the iPhone X with each other. the water resistance has been expanded to IP68 to ensure protection against splashes.

Inside, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are equipped with a 7-nanometer A12 bionic chip. The A12’s four core GPU is up to 50 percent faster than the A11 chip.

A more efficient memory controller enables the iPhone XS up to 512 GB of storage space. The models iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are available with capacities of 64GB or 512 GB, the customer can choose according to their wishes. An 8-core future generation neural engine performs up to 5 trillion operations per second. What does that mean that your IPHONE can be used properly.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have the same 12 Mp dual camera system. A larger wide-angle sensor enables sharper images in poor lighting conditions. While Smart HDR enables more detailed photos for users.

A telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom still enables photos in portrait mode that have better bokeh. A depth control option is used to adjust the depth of field. Larger pixels plus an expanded dynamic range and a 32% larger sensor help to record videos even in poor lighting conditions.

The TrueDepth camera system still includes a 7-megapixel lens, but has been updated to make facial recognition faster than before.

Other features include support for Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual SIM options with included nano SIM and eSIM. iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max now support most LTE bands on an iPhone.

Thanks to the A12 chip, the battery life of the iPhone XS and XS Max has been improved by 30 minutes compared to the iPhone X. Prices for the iPhone XS start at $ 999 for the 64GB model.

iPhone XS design

In terms of design, the 5.8-inch iPhone XS is essentially identical to the iPhone X. Both the iPhone XS and the XS Max have OLED displays. Which were equipped for an all-screen design. There is a narrow area on the side of each iPhone XS and a recess on the front that houses the TrueDepth camera system, speakers and sensors. Otherwise you only see the OLED display when looking at the iPhone XS.

The rounded corners of the iPhone XS display melt into a glass housing. Which are surrounded by a highly polished steel frame. Which are available in the colors silver, space gray or gold. The steel frame of the new iPhones is made of a material designed by Apple. The iPhone XS also has no lower bezel, no home button and no Touch ID fingerprint sensor. There is a mute switch and two volume buttons on the left edge of the new iPhone XS models. On the right side there is an extended side button.

The iPhone XS is 143.6 mm high and 70.9 mm wide and 7.7 mm thick. At 177 grams, it is slightly heavier than the iPhone X model.

The glass was very fragile and the iPhone X was prone to breakage. However, according to Apple, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max use a more resistant, scratch-resistant glass. IPhone users are delighted with this message. It is likely the Gorilla Glass 6 material that was announced earlier this year.

iPhone XS WATER AND DUST RESISTANCE

The new iPhone XS models from Apple offer improved water resistance.
Degree of protection IP68 means that the iPhone XS can withstand water depths of up to two meters for about 30 minutes.

IP6x is the highest dust resistance class. Therefore, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are completely safe from dust and dirt. It is questionable why the Apple company does not cover any water damage to iOS devices. Although the iPhone XS models are more resistant to water, it is best to keep the devices as far away from water as possible.

Like the iPhone X, the iPhone XS offers a resolution of 2436 x 1125 with 458 pixels per inch.
R.A.M. iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have 4 GB of RAM.

iPhone XS Face ID and TrueDepth camera

The Face ID launched in 2017 with the iPhone X is the biometric recognition system. Also used in the iPhone XS and XS Max. The face ID is the same as the touch ID except that a face scan is used instead of a fingerprint. Face recognition uses infrared technology so that it works in poor lighting conditions as well as in the dark.

iPhone XS FACE LABELING SECURITY AND PRIVACY

Face ID uses a detailed 3D facial scan to avoid being fooled by a photo, mask, or other imitation of the face. With the “attention function”, the iPhone XS recognizes whether you are looking at it. Face detection will then display notifications and messages on the lock screen when you look at the iPhone XS.

With face recognition, there is a 1 in 1,000,000 chance that someone else’s face will deceive the iPhone XS face recognition. However, it should be noted that the error rate increases to 1 to 1 at 500,000 if an alternative appearance is registered in iOS 12.
With the TrueDepth camera, you can record 1080p HD videos at 30 or 60 frames per second.

iPhone XS backup camera

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max use the same camera system with two lenses as the iPhone X. With a wide-angle lens with 12 megapixels, which enables double the optical zoom and 10x zoom. Then when optical and digital zoom are combined.

Portrait Lighting uses algorithms to calculate the interaction of facial features with light. Using the data, you can complement unique lighting effects such as natural light. iPhone XS use the same quad LED true tone flash, but it has been improved this year.

iPhone XS VIDEO CAPABILITIES

The iPhone XS and XS Max can record 4K videos with 1080p HD quality. The iPhone XS models continue to offer vitreous bodies and built-in wireless charging coils to support the type of charging function. Apple uses the Qi standard for wireless charging, which means that the new iPhones can be charged wirelessly with any Qi-approved inductive charger.
According to Apple, the iPhone XS charges “even faster” than the iPhone X, that’s hard to believe. Faster charging is to be made possible by a new copper wireless charging coil.

iPhone XS GIGABIT LTE

iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max support GB class LTE. Gigabit LTE offers maximum transfer speeds of 1 Gbit per second, but actual speeds depend on factors such as the network connection. Gigabit LTE also uses Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) to improve network capacity in crowded areas. This should make it possible to use both the licensed and the unlicensed spectrum.

iPhone XS BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI

iPhone XS and XS Max support the Bluetooth 5.0 standard. Bluetooth 5.0 enables greater range, faster speeds, greater broadcast message capacity, and better collaboration with other wireless technologies. 802.11ac Wi-Fi with 2×2 MIMO is supported.
