2nd Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

With 6.9-inch dynamic AMOLED display, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is one of the smartphones currently available. The high resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels ensures an ultra-sharp image. This applies as long as you are not operating the phone in 120 Hz mode as this reduces the resolution to 2400 x 1080.

3rd Huawei Mate 30 Pro

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro – Depending on the model, you get at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage that can be expanded via an NM card. It also has a large 4,500 mAh battery, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, 3D face recognition and a modern, current SoC with optional 5G and USB 3.1. The quad camera is definitely a highlight and, with its secondary main sensor, shifts the camera focus clearly towards videography.

4th OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 6.78-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by a current flagship SoC from Qualcomm, which either with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.0 memory or alternatively with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is equipped with different color options.

5th Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a much larger battery, which has significantly improved the battery life despite the 90 Hz display. The 6.67-inch OLED display runs with FHD + resolution, and the device is operated with a Snapdragon 865, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.0 memory in order to achieve a high level of performance overall.

6th Apple iPhone 11 Pro

The Apple iPhone 11 Pro has hardly changed compared to the previous year and is definitely the most compact high-end smartphone. It has a 5.8-inch OLED screen with 2436 x 1125 pixels. The fast SoC always ensures a responsive user experience. The memory cannot be expanded, so you have to choose between 64, 256 and 512 GB SKUs.

7th Samsung Galaxy S20 and the S20+

The Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S20 + achieved the same results and therefore have to share their place in our top 10. The Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch OLED display, a triple camera and a 4,000 mAh battery. At 6.7 inches, the Galaxy S20 Plus is slightly larger, has a large 4,500 mAh battery and a quad camera array. Both cameras are very similar and offer an ultra wide angle and a zoom lens in addition to the main camera. In contrast to the S20, the S20 Plus has an additional 3D camera. Both phones are available with 128 GB storage and optional 5G. Choosing the latter gives you more RAM, and the S20 Plus 5G can optionally be purchased with 512 GB of internal storage.

8th Samsung Galaxy Note10+

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 + is the high-end model of the Note series and offers a huge dynamic 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 3040 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is operated with Samsung’s own Exynos 9825, which is supported by 12 GB RAM. You can choose between 256 or 512 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded via a microSD card. However, the optional 5G SKU is limited to 256 GB. On the back is a quad camera, which consists of a wide-angle, a telephoto, an ultra-wide-angle and a depth of field sensor. The battery capacity is good at 4300 mAh, but the runtime is still shorter than expected.

9th Asus ROG Phone 2

The Asus ROG Phone 2 is the well-manufactured second generation of the Asus gaming smartphone, for which various SKUs are available. The most basic model is the so-called Strix Edition, which has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and does not have an optional removable fan. The latter is included in the Standard Edition, which also offers 12 GB of RAM and a full 512 GB of storage.
